Commission a portrait
The portraits I paint offer many options in terms of size and medium. They are entirely painted with acrylic and protected by a layer of glossy varnish. Find examples of realizations below:
Three very simple steps are necessary before ordering: choosing the medium / size, the background color and the photo of the animal to represent.
Support and size
Two types of media are available for these portraits, canvas or paper. The canvases are made of cotton, mounted on a wooden frame with a thickness of 1.5 cm. These paintings are to be hung as is or can be framed. For portraits on paper, I use fine grain watercolor paper with a thickness of 300g / m². These paintings are to be framed under glass (not supplied).

Background color
Pick a color that suits you, maybe your favorite color, or that matches the walls of the person you want to gift the painting to. You can also opt for a mix of colors, or a plain white background. The photo of the animal
I work from the photos you send me, so think about choosing a photo where the animal is in a position you like and the light is good. The better the photo, the better the portrait! The ideal is to send me several photos so that I can take into account all the details of the animal, then together we will choose the one you like the most and will serve as the main model. The background of the photo does not matter since it can be changed on the portrait, as can some details of the animal. If you want the portrait of several animals, I can put them together on the same portrait even if they are on different photos.

To place an commission, a form is available at the bottom of this page. Tell me about your project, even if it seems crazy to you! We will see together what is feasible and what is not. Once the project has been defined and fixed, you can then pay a deposit (30%), or pay the full amount if you prefer, before the portrait is produced.
Before we start, I will send you a photo of the sketch so that you can validate or indicate the changes you want. Once the painting is finished, you will receive a message again with a photo of it. If you are satisfied with the end result, the paint is varnished. You can then pay the rest of the payment and the painting will be shipped immediately. Payments in 3 installments are possible.
Shipping is done in perfectly adapted packaging. The paintings are protected by bubble wrap and I prepare the custom-made package myself so that it is in the right format and perfectly protects the work. Each portrait is accompanied by its certificate of authenticity (and its wax seal that I pour myself), which certifies that it was made by a professional painter.
PRICES
The prices vary according to the request: support, size of the painting, number of animals, possible decoration, … Here are some prices for orders on cotton canvas for the formats most often requested:
- €220 for an animal on canvas 33 x 41 cm
- €355 for two animals on canvas 38 x 46 cm
