Description

This painting is my largest to date. But the format isn’t the only original element: I usually avoid using black in my paintings … But here, I used a lot of it! This contrast between the dark canvas and the lightness of the subjects gives the painting a vibrant effect. The cat and its butterfly are as if illuminated.
